These terms and conditions of use are a legal agreement between you and The Digital Asset Lab Ltd, The Digital Asset Lab Ltd acting as agents on behalf of our clients or business partners and associates.

Your use of sites owned, owned and managed or managed by The Digital Asset Lab Ltd constitutes your acceptance of the Terms. If you do not agree with the Terms, please do not use our Sites.

The design, web design, delivery software, programming, programming scripts are covered by copyright or legal ownership of The Digital Asset Lab Ltd, their respective partners, suppliers or licensed to The Digital Asset Lab Ltd.

These sites are owned and operated by The Digital Asset Lab Ltd.

On our sites where we sell software, additional Terms & Conditions apply, these are highlighted on the respective sites.

All of the media content featured or displayed on our sites and software programs, is either owned by The Digital Asset Lab Ltd or clients of The Digital Asset Lab Ltd.

You shall indemnify The Digital Asset Lab Ltd, and/or it's clients against any losses, expenses, costs or damages incurred as a result of your breach of these terms or your unauthorised use of the media content or the site.

In all cases you may not obtain media content from our sites and then re-sell or in any way offer the media for re-distribution. You may not crop out or modify any image which contains an 'anti-theft' watermark or 'anti-theft' device. All images on our sites hold a digital signature to allow us to identify digital media originating from our media libraries.

All sites and all client sites which offer free download or purchase and use of content do so on the understanding that their use is only for the positive promotion of their company, their respective partners or content providers. Use may be restricted to press or editorial use only and you should always check on the respective site or with the respective client prior to any advertising use of content which may require written permission or a release. Purchase is for 'one off' use only and further use will require additional purchase.

Any reproduction of media content including, but not limited to, text, graphics, photographs images, moving images, sound, illustrations and software outside the terms of any license constitutes an infringement of copyright and also a breach of terms entitling us to rescind and claim damages. You must indemnify us in respect of any claims, damages, costs or expenses we incur arising from any reproduction of any Image supplied to you. You must satisfy yourself that all necessary rights, model releases or consents which may be required for reproduction are obtained and that the use of any image is not obscene, indecent, libellous or unlawful. We make no claim or warranty with regard to your use of content, names, text, people, trademarks or copyright material depicted in any media and you will indemnify us in respect of any claims, damages, costs or expenses we incur arising from the use of any media supplied to you.

While we take all reasonable care in the performance of our sites and these Terms & Conditions, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you or by any third party arising from use of our sites or reproduction of any media or its caption. Our failure to exercise or enforce any of our rights will not be deemed to be a waiver of such rights nor bar their exercise or enforcement in future.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties agree to submit the jurisdiction of the English courts.

The Digital Asset Lab Ltd reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions without notice and you should check here on every visit to satisfy yourself that you are in total agreement and therefore bound by these Terms and Conditions prior to further use of any of our websites . If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms & Conditions or do not accept them, leave this site immediately do not use this site or download or use any Images.

We are committed to protect your privacy and rights. This policy covers every site owned hosted or managed by The Digital Asset Lab Ltd and explains the information we collect from you and how we use that information. You should also read our Terms & Conditions.


The Digital Asset Lab Ltd collects the information you provide.

All web servers generate 'Log Files'. When you use the Internet, you are assigned a unique address, known as an IP address. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. We aggregate this information to make sure we are running our servers efficiently, plan ahead for expansion or spot early warnings of problems. We may also use this information to inform present and potential clients on the efficient running and popularity of our services.

The Digital Asset Lab Ltd host and manage media libraries on behalf of our clients. To access many of these sites you have to obtain a user name and password directly from the client. On sites where you provide information so that you may register, access, obtain, view, download, purchase or communicate with us or with the client for whom we act as their agent, we only pass this information to the respective client. You must check with the individual client as to how they use this information.

We provide the client with reports in respect of their individual site. You may be requested to type in your name and company name. If you view, preview, download or purchase an image or media file, it will be recorded.

From time to time we may offer a form on our sites as part of a newsletter, invitation or survey. It will be made very clear from the outset of the form page the reasons for our request, we will use an "opt in" rather than an "opt out" policy, to avoid you receiving unsolicited contact.

On some sites we offer a 'comment section', to allow you to provide feedback about your experience on our sites. We take your feedback very seriously and find that in the majority of cases your comments enable us to improve our sites or services. We will respond with our views, thanks etc.,


Every site we run is different, the information you provide varies from site to site and may be shared with our client if we are hosting a site on their behalf. We detail below the fields we may collect though in practice most sites collect less information. However, as you have to type the information into the various forms or text boxes, you are fully aware of the information you are providing.

Essentially you provide to us or our client, via the Internet exactly the same information requested if you visited our offices in person or telephoned so that we can serve or sell you something requiring delivery. When you place an order, we need to know your name, address email address, telephone number. Delivery and billing address.

If you are a business a company name, in some cases your account number, purchase order number and VAT number.

You may optionally be asked to provide your fax and mobile number, which helps us contact you urgently if there is a problem with your order.

An ftp address, ISDN number or email address if we are transmitting images to you or your designated recipient.

We may provide your telephone number(s) to a courier should they need to contact you regarding your requested urgent delivery - prints, transparencies, CD's etc

When you choose to contact us (or a client) through a web form, we need your name, email address, and telephone number, etc. This information is used to contact you if we need to respond to your question.

In order to access some libraries we host for clients you may have had to register on their website and you are then free to access further information on their site or click a link into their library hosted by ourselves. In order for us to produce a report to our client on library activities, they typically pass a 'user reference ID' to our site. We have no access to any information linked to this 'user reference ID'.


If you choose to pay online by credit or debit card, you will be asked to provide your card details on a secure form using 128-bit encryption. PayPal & Protx, our internet payment providers, holds these securely. We do not get to see your card details. All credit card refunds are instigated by us but made through PayPal or Protx who ensure the correct card is credited.

If you are unhappy about providing your card details over the internet - both PayPal and Protx are respected UK payment providers and it is quite safe - please telephone us on +44 (0)845 50 50 911 during office hours 09.00 to 18.00 UK time and we will be delighted to take your order over the 'phone.


We, like all sophisticated web sites need to use a session cookie to store your requests or wishes during your visit. After all, there could be hundreds of other users on the site at the same time and we need to uniquely identify your requests and orders.

If you choose not to accept the cookie, you may not be able to make full use of our services. The majority of our media library sites will not work without cookies being enabled.

A cookie is a piece of data, stored locally on your computer and contains information about your session activities with us via the Internet. Once you close your browser, our access to the cookie simply terminates.


We may use your personal information in the prevention of abuse and detection of fraud, if requested by a court of law and certain UK government inspectors have a legal right to view all our company records, such as the Inland Revenue and HM Customs & Excise.


We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information.


Our websites may contain links to other sites, or you may have been directed or transferred via a link to one of our web sites or hosted web sites. The Digital Asset Lab Ltd is not responsible for the privacy practices within any other sites. We encourage you to be aware of this when you leave our site and to read the privacy statements on other websites you visit which collect personally identifiable information and avoid sites which do not have a privacy policy statement. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected on our websites.


By using our websites you consent to the collection and use of this information by The Digital Asset Lab Ltd as described above. Changes to this privacy policy will be posted to this page so that you are kept informed of the information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it. You should view this page on each visit to check if there have been any changes to our privacy policy.
